Christmas :D

Christmas is only a few days away, and I am super excited. On Thursday morning my family and I are leaving to Ohio to be with family. This exciting because we will probably have a white Christmas this year! The only bad thing is that we have to leave our pets in California. Rosie has to stay in a kennel, and Sully gets to stay at my friend Adams house for a while, which he is very excited about. Today, we have to get some last minute shopping in, then later tonight Adam and I are going to the Irvine Spectrum with Brittany to celebrate her 14th birthday! Well, thats all for now because we have to leave pretty soon. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hey! Sorry I have'nt posted anything in a while, I have'nt been on the computer lately. Today was a really fun day. First off, me and my friend Alisha got up early and went to some garage sales all around our neighborhood. Next my sister dropped me and Alisha off at Petco, so we could support Brittany, with her hamster Flubber, and Adam with Davey and Pancho. This was because today was the annual hamster race at Petco. It was pretty fun, and although none of their hamsters won, I was able to race Adams hamster Davey for him. I hope I can have the opprotunity to particapate in that event again, and maybe even bring Sully. After the race, Alisha and I headed home with Brittany along with us. We hung out the rest of the day, and had a blast! Once both of them had left, my sister and I drove to our favorite fast food resturant, Chick-Fil-A. It was delicious and defenitly filled us up.

Also, all of the animals are doing pretty good. Sully is gettting bigger everyday and is also a very big spaz in the mornings. The birds, Skye and Mojo, are good also and are chirping happily at the moment. Speedie, the box turtle, is still very cute, and recently I realized that he always has a smile on his face. :) Rosie is still a cutie and right now she really needs a bath. Sunshine and Glory are getting better, but they still are sick and cannot be around other horses yet. Well, thats a brief update of My Life right now, TTYL!

Sully

Today was a very nice day! First of all, because Eddie died so quickly, we decided to get something different. It took a lot of debating but I finally decided on a Guinea Pig. He is very sweet and his name is Sully. He is a reddish color with a big white dot on his forehead which made him stand out when we picked him. Although he is still a baby, he is very hyper and will eat pretty much anything you feed him. Overall, I know I made the right choice with him!

A Tragic Loss

Yesterday my Bearded Dragon Eddie died. We believe that he/she died because of the altitude change way up here in Wyoming, which led him/her to not want to eat. I no I could not of forced him/her to eat, but I still wish we could of done something. Although I only had him/her for a month before he/she passed, I still loved him/her just like I do every other pet. I will miss him/her very very much. Eddie will always be in my heart.

Yesterday was a very good day. This is because I adopted a very cool, baby Bearded Dragon. He is a beige color and is super sweet. My dad and I decided to name it Eddie because if he turns out to be a she, we can call her Edie. I already can tell he's going to be an awesome pet! OK i have to go because its his bedtime! BYE! :)

Today was a really fun day! First off, I went to San Clemente beach with Brittany and Adam. Which was very cold, but very fun! Then after Brittany was off to swim practice, Adam and I went to the pool for a bit before going to Chuck E. Cheese's with some other friends, Mark and Erin. We all enjoyed it, and I hope we get to go again this summer but with Brittany too.

Also, in a few weeks my sister and I are going to Atlanta to visit my grandparents and my cousin Jordan. This is super exciting because we get to see them for a second time this summer! Maybe while I'm there I will get to work on my tan while I'm at their pool too. :)

Graduation and Other Stuff

A few days ago, my bird Angel died. It was very tragic, and I am still very upset. However, Mojo was very lonely when Angel left. So, in order to have him singing again, I have gotten him a new friend. Her name is Skye, and she is very sweet and friendly. Also, she is very smart. We just purchased her yesterday, and she is already starting to walk on my finger and play around in her and Mojo's cage. I know she will never replace Angel, but I also know she has filled part of the hole in my heart, and has helped me partly recover from the tragic death.

My Long Weekend

This weekend is president's weekend. So, my school has Friday and Monday off. During this time my family and I will be going to Wyoming, where the temperature has been in the negatives and it is snowing. We will go snowmobiling and just play in the snow a lot! I am very excited. Also, my mom and dads 22nd anniversary is on the 14th which, yes , is also valentines day. (Isn't it so romantic?) : ) Well, I need to go and pack, I will update after my trip!

Im back at school, and I wish it was still break! Although i am happy to be with my friends everyday again, I hate waking up so early. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! For the past two weeks I have had a lot of fun. I hung out with my buddies, got some cool gifts, and had a great time. One of the happiest moments of the past few weeks, was when I got a boyfriend for Angel, my bird that I've had sine 2004. His name is Mojo and he is super sweet! Him and Angel get along great as well, and they sing me a song EVERY MORNING. Even though this can be a little annoying, I love both of them dearly. I hope you had a great last few weeks of 2008, and have an even greater 2009!

Today was such a great day. My Mom and I were cooking all day, but we managed to squeeze in a lot into the day. My sister got her permit on Tuesday!!! So today she legally drove my family around my neighborhood. Later, we went out to the barn to give our horses a few treats for Thanksgiving. Then FINALLY, after all day we feasted, and I am so full!!!

Turkey Day

I am out of school for an entire week! Thanksgiving is on Thursday and I an so excited to eat some turkey. This week I have a few plans. First, on Friday I went over to my friend Adam's house with Brittany. Tomorrow, I am going to see Bolt in 3-D with Adam and Brittany again. My final plan is to eat as much as I can on thanksgiving and give thanks to everyone I love. Have a great thanksgiving! Bye!

Today, I had to go to my dentist and have FIVE teeth pulled out of my mouth. Luckily my dentist, Dr. Fetehi, was very nice and made sure that during my surgery I was not in any pain. I had to be put to sleep and because of this it felt as if I were only in the office for about five minutes. After I got home, I laid on the couch and watched TV. All day I had to keep gauze in my mouth because of the bleeding, so I could not eat, drink, or talk. But about seven hours later I stopped bleeding. I can only eat mushy things such as yogurt and mashed potatoes. I am feeling alright now, but I am a little tired so I am going to go to bed.

Here is a summary written by myself about one of my favorite books Twilight:
Bella, a seventeen-year-old girl who has just moved to Forks, Washington, is a very beautiful and intelligent girl. On her first day of school, she is automatically liked by most of the boys on the small campus. All she really desires though is to become friends with a few people and then graduate happily in a few years. However, someone who really catches her eye is the unusually pale and beautiful, Edward Cullen. For some reason that Bella does not know, Edward despises her and tries to avoid her as much as possible. So, Bella decides to figure out the reason why he acts in such a crude manor. After beginning to talk and spend time with him though, she realizes that she is irrevocably in love with Edward, who turns out to be a bloodthirsty vampire. This intense, forbidden love story is great for young adults who enjoy a suspenseful and romantic story.

Did you know that the Environmental Protection Agency requires by law that all pesticides be tested on dogs? These poor defenseless animals are placed into “inhalation chambers” where they are forced to breathe in deadly gasses with no way of escaping, no matter how hard they try. People believe that the products they use are no longer tested on animals, but when was the last time you checked for the “not tested on animals” label on the back of your lotion or shampoo? Do you really care? America has chosen ignorance over responsibility when it comes to animal testing, it is morally unethical, and there are much better things that these animals have to live for.
In the subject of animal testing, America has chosen to be ignorant to the obvious facts so that they don’t have to deal with it. There are many ways that animal testing is used that most people don’t even know about. One of the more common tests is the kind that deals with the skin. In most of these cases rabbits or rats are used. They are placed in full body restraints so they can’t help the pain they are soon exposed to. Once in the restraints, the product that is being tested is swabbed on to a shaved area of the animal’s skin. The animal is then left to sit for hours at a time while the substance eats away at their skin and more often than not kills them. Once the product has run its full course the test administrators record the results and dispose of the animal for it no longer has any use to them. There are also places that “grow” animals just so they can be used in testing. There is no point in creating life just to destroy it.
The simplest reason of all that animal testing should be banned is that it is morally unethical. If you saw someone beating a dog to death on the street would you just ignore it and go about your day? I know I wouldn’t. Studies show that over 63% of American households own pets. I personally have a dog and just to think about some of these tests being administered to her makes me sick to my stomach. People with a clear view of what’s right and what’s wrong should be able to tell that animal testing is just about as wrong as it can get.
Some people depend on animals to survive. Whether it be a guide dog or just simply someone’s best friend there are limitless ways that animals make people happy. Guide dogs are an excellent way for people with disabilities to get around like a normal person. Animals can be trained to help us in ways that don’t harm them. If dogs are called “man’s best friend” then why does man continue to kill them just to make sure their pesticides work properly? Is dry skin really so bad that we have to make animals suffer just to get a bottle of lotion?
People may argue that we have no other choice because if we stop tests on animals we will have to start testing on people. What most people don’t realize is that we are already testing on humans. There is no point in testing things on animals because a chemical tested on an animal’s skin may react differently when used on a person’s skin. There are so many alternatives to animal testing besides just testing on people too. Various tissue culture methods have been tested and accepted in Europe as total replacements for animal-based skin absorption studies. Animal testing is not necessary and should be banned outright.
Animal testing is cruel and wrong on so many levels. If we would just take a moment to read about animal testing and its alternatives maybe more people would fight against it and we, as a country, could get rid of it all together. America needs to stop being ignorant, get back in touch with their morals, and realize that there are so many better things that animals can be used for. Today I walked outside and I saw almost the cutest puppy I have ever seen!! My neighbors old dog had passed away a few months ago, and decided finally to buy another puppy. They bought a Golden Retriever girl, named Penny. They picked her up at her house this morning for the first time and they are so thrilled to have this new family member with them now. She is a very mellow, yet excited, new pup that just wants to explore the world around her. So now their are two new puppies on street, Sparkie and Penny.

Yesterday I went over to my neighbors house to see their new puppy, Sparkie. Earlier this year their other dog, Jazzy died of cancer. So now, after all the tears, they rescued a new boy puppy. He is an Australian Shepard and part Terrier mix, but it just looks like an Australian Shepard. He is soooo cute, in fact he may be one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen. I will try to post some pictures of him later, because I'm sure you will fall in love with him too.

Busy Week

Today I went fishing after dinner at East Fork River. I was with Rosie, my mom, and my dad. It was only for about an hour but I CAUGHT A FISH!!!!!!! It was about eight inches long and it was a trout. I was very excited because I was the only one who caught anything. My sisters friend Catherine is here in WY now and Todd and his family left on Tuesday.Now I know way more about Bailey and Jake. Bailey was super nice and we are good friends now. Jake is CRAZY!!! He is loud, likes to run around and tackle people, and is very cute (he is 5 1/2). It was very depressing when they left and now our house is very quiet. But now Catherine is here and my Grandparents are coming in a few days. So hopefully It will be very exciting around here.

On Tuesday my parents friends are flying into Jackson Hole to spend about a week with us. Todd, Holly, Baily, and Jake. Todd works with my dad and is nice and very funny. Holly, his wife, likes to ride and train horses, and has rode with my mom a couple of times. I do not know very much about their kids Baily and Jake, except for that Baily is one year younger than me and that Jake is little and his personality is just like his dads. My mom and dad already have a whole schedule planned out for what to do with them while they are here. So we will keep them very busy. Overall I really can not wait for our visitors to arrive.

My Day

Today I did a lot of stuff. First, after I woke up, I went down to help my mom and my dad put up two fence/stalls for the two love-birds Sunshine and Glory. Now they are situated and are very happy that they are together (Even though we can't separate them). After that we came up to the house and I played a little bit of the Wii, then I ate three pieces of pizza. After that we hooked up the trailer and went to pick up two other horses that we are leasing for the month. Remmington and Ombre. Remmington is a huge Bay horse that looks like a Clydesdale. But Ombre on the other hand is a tiny Bay horse and looks like he could be a pony. They are both very very sweet boys. Then I went down to see the girls with Rosie, and she wanted to play but the horses did not. So we went and played fetch in the irrigation ditch. She loves chasing the stick back and forth into the water. Well that is pretty much what I did most of today. I will post more later this week. Bye.

Stressed Out

Well there is only one full day left until we leave for Wyoming and EVERYONE is stressing out. We been packing up the trailor getting it ready for the horses and weve been packing up our suitcases, which is stressing out our dog Rosie. A LOT. This is because whenever she sees a suitcase in our house she thinks we are going to leave her in a kennel while we are gone. This another reason why I love this trip, because we relieve the stress off of Rosie and she loves all the space and water she gets to run around and play in when we finally arrive. This will probably be the last post I will write in a while, because of the trip. I will try to write whenevere I have time though.

Summer

I thought I would take the time to tell you what exactly I am doing for the rest of my summer vacation. Well even though I have already done a ton, I am going to Wyoming on July 30. My family and I are going to drive because of the horses, and we have been doing this for a long time now. We drive in a Dodge pick up truck pulling a trailer with two horses. In the truck we have my dad driving, my mom in the passenger seat, me and my sister crammed into the back seat with my dog Rosie and my Parakeet Angel. Yay. Accutially, this year we have a Dodge Megacab so it is a lot more enjoyable, it is like sitting on a couch in the back seat. Also, now we have a built-in DVD player so my sister and I will be able to watch movies when we want. I am accutially really really excited to go this year because we have a very special addition to the ride. Sunshine. She has never been to Wyoming before, but she has been on longer trailer rides. She was born in Canada so she had to drive in a trailor from Canada to California. But now she gets to ride to Wyoming from California, which is a TWENTY hour ride with horses. But this year we are staying the night in Utah, which will be way better than driving straight through. In case you did not know we have a summer home in Wyoming, which is why we are staying until Augest 19. This is really cool because my BFF Brittany gets home from England on the same day. Do not worry I can still blog in WY because I will bring my laptop. Overall going to Wyoming is a long trip, but it is all worth it because it is beautiful and I am with the ones I love.

Well today is July 20, 2008 and 39 years ago on July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong landed on the moon for the very first time in history.Not very many people know this which is a little bit sad because it is such a memorable day in history.So I hope this post helps you understand how important this "regular" day in your life is.

So far I have not done much I have played some games talked to Brittany and eaten a lot of good food. Later I MIGHT go and see fire works and see Brit, so I can give her her phone back. My dads truck got egged today, it was pretty funny, but he cleaned it up. Six people on our street got their cars and trucks egged today(not including us). Well overall, even though Fourth of July is not over yet, I have had a lot of fun! :)

An Old Friend

I do have another BFFL named Channy-Bear. I have known her since I was three and she was barley one, and now we are a lot older. I will always love her and I am sure she will always love me. She is two years younger than me but we get along fabulosley. Every week we hang out at least once and maby go swimming in her pool or go to the beach together. I do not know what I would do without her in my life. :)

Also we just want to spend all the time we can together. In fact, this summer we have been hanging out because our goal for the long break is to work on our tans. Since 2005 I have been going to Dubois Wyoming every spring break and summer. It is a quiet little town with a population of only 937 people!!!!!! I have more people than that at my middle school!!!!!!! It is very peaceful there, and I LOVE fishing in the lakes and rivers there with my dad. Except for when water get into my waders or the canore flips over. :)

Even when Im at home I try to go fishing in the ocean. About 2 months ago I went, and this is what I caught( see pic.) A Sea Bass, and I was very proud of it too!:) Overall, I enjoy deep sea fishing and fly fishing.

My Life

My Life mostly evolves around my awesome animals. I have five pets at the moment. First I have a parekeet named Angel, she is not the brightest of all birds but i love her, (for a while we could not figure out what gender she was, but now it is confermed it is a girl). Another pet ,that is acctually my sisters, is a turtle named Speedie, who is very slow so his name really suits him. One of my favorite is my dog Rosilita, (see my pic.) who is now four years old!!!!! She is a bit of a dork but we all love her. I also have two horses. One is named Glory and is really my moms horse. Right now she is hurt on her hoof but is making good progress. Last but DEFINITLY not least is Sunshine, my pretty Pony-Pal!!!! She is Greatly trained and loves anyone, especially the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Another two REALLY important things in my life is my BFFL Brittany and my BFFL Chandler. I would do anything for them. Also Both of them have blogs. Brittany introduced me to Blogspot, and Chandler well she introduced herself to blogspot. Well to wrap it up, all of these things are what are important to me in My Life.
